In response to the release of this campaign information. “We feel the enthusiasm with our grassroots base, and I am so thankful to the many supporters who are backing me for Sheriff.
I have received and continue to receive widespread bi-partisan endorsements from community and business leaders, current and past elected officials and many unions including the South Bay AFL-CIO Labor Council, CEMA County Employees Management Association, and nearly all police and deputy unions inside and outside of Santa Clara County. I am particularly excited to have received a historic 97%-member vote from the Santa Clara County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association. It is very encouraging to have the support of law enforcement, both active and retired, officers and rank and file and from the community. This is an important election and I’m finding that many in the County believe, as I do, that it’s time for positive change at the Sheriff’s Office.”
Captain Jensen is a 28-year veteran of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office who has served in many Executive Management and Management positions and a wide range of administrative, operational, and tactical positions.
